With an IT career, spanning nearly 20 years, designing, operating and managing environments for organisations across a range of industries, including forestry, manufacturing, retail, construction, rail, transport & logistics.
Through the last 15 years in senior roles within 24x7 operations, I have significant experience and interest in “large business” and the challenges encountered, with the largest being a $3bn ASX listed company spanning 84 sites across 4 countries.
Formally qualified as an ICT Network Engineer, I am now focusing on supporting the entire industry an all business sizes through professional tailored advisory services. Focusing on systems, solutions & cyber security design, technology strategies, business process improvements & project management across both ICT & Operational Technology functions
A recent highlight was being able to work with RISSB as a member of both the National Rail Cyber Security Advisory Group and the development groups responsible for the Rail Cyber Security Standard (AS 7770), and associated Rail Cyber Security Strategy.

Mathew has spent the past eight years as a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist for Telstra where he has worked with several prominent Tasmanian businesses helping them utilise technology to transform their businesses to become smarter and more efficient. He can discuss technical solutions with a C-level audience, talk technical with an IT team, or design and implement technical solutions.
Mathew’s wide-ranging experience provides him with the ability to undertake new and challenging projects and deliver high quality results. While his passion for software development has lead to a number of improvements in business process though the delivery of modern digitisation projects.
